Don't think Chelsea location has anything on UES for AA customers.
Passed by the 8th and 23rd location last night and the crowd was quite mixed with AAs being rather the minority.
Also that area does have more people open to going to a restaurant like BBQ's than say the UES where it seems a good number avoid it like the plague. Well at least those who live west of Third.
Ok, maybe need to take back previous statements!
Passed by 8th Avenue and 23rd BBQ's last night and glanced in through windows as walking by; would say it was mostly AA.
Should have been paying more attention to what was going on; nearly got knocked over by two AA females who pulled a D&D as they ran out of BBQs in a mad dash towards 24th. Door person security in hot pursuit saying some not very nice things.

Totally ratchet......
What in the hell is a D&D? Did they eat and not pay? LOL
Figures. I ate at the UES location years ago with a friend. Just had a salad of some sort. It was pretty decent. It's not a place I would go for BBQ as I don't eat a lot of meat in general, but when I do, a nice juicy lamb burger is delish. Speaking of waffles, Blue Bottle makes nice ones. It's a bit of wait because they make them fresh on the spot, but worth it.
Sorry, have nor ever would wait one hour much less an hour and half for a table anywhere. Would rather go home and cook a meal myself.
Only pretentious egits who want to say they've eaten at some spot would do such a thing.
Not true! I have to wait that long at my favorite place and I plan for that and enjoy it. They have a nice bar area to sit and drink and chat with one's companion.
A Waffle House would probably do well in a port area with lots of tractor trailer traffic, distribution workers looking for a quick bite while they're unloading. Just my opinion - here in the Philadelphia area we don't have any Waffle Houses either, but I'd think in Bensalem near I-95 where there is already a Krispy Kreme, and lots of warehouses and terminals nearby, would be a logical choice for one.
