I am 24, just graduated and have always wanted to live in Manhatten. I know that it is rediculously expensive, but I have no children or family here in Orlando and feel that if I don't at least try I will always regret it. I have friends there and am trying to figure out how I'm going to make this happen. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Get one of your friends in the city to put you up cheaply (rent a room or couch or something) for a month or two, move out, and find a job. Go from there into a share or whatever you can afford, which you will be able to figure out much eaisier once you are in the city.
