Could you please tell me what times of the morning and afternoon is there the lightest traffic on belt pkwy from Queens in morning and Bklyn. in afternoon during the week???
My experiences? Saturday/Sunday early, like 6-7 AM, if you're not talking ridiculously early hours.
But honestly you never know. I've been stuck in traffic at any time due to pretty much anything and everything that can happen. You might think you're safe in the afternoon and then they decide to close a lane to cut the grass.
If there's ever a good time, I feel like it's really unpredictable. I think maybe the best thing to do would be to check the route on your phone's GPS app or Waze at different times for a week and see if you can see a pattern.

Anything outside of rush hour is your best bet.
I dont drive to work during the week but I cross over the Belt Parkway on the A train going to work every day. In the morning, westbound always has traffic, eastbound is clear. In the evening, reverse.

Sometimes it is unavoidable. The bridge construction adds to the congestion.
Sunday and Mondays are great up until noon.
I agree also with waze but don't let it alter you off the belt. The alternate streets are riddled with speed cameras.
Unless you don't mind 25 mph as your top speed. Thanks DiBlasio and Cuomo you bunch of crumbs...............
