I applied to one of the lotteries on housing connect and didn't realize it was for a micro-apartment. I don't even like the ideas of a sudden apartment and weren't those used to be about 500 sq ft? Now I'm sure it's less than that so the micros are the studio apartments and the ones that are 500 sq ft are what luxury studios?? -_-'

A true 500 square foot studio would be quite large for NYC standards, especially given there are 2 and sometimes 3 bedrooms that are only 800 sq. feet.

It boggles my mind when I see apartment listings for 3 bedrooms in 800 sq ft. And then they'll tell you it's 2 baths as well and I'm like "where?".
This is why I have a roommate. I'd rather share a bathroom with one person than 20.
