LOL.

On a serious note the boxes can be recycled. I usually flatten my boxes and hold on to them to use in the future when shipping stuff or store stuff in. I flatten them and put them in the back of my closet. My building also have a recycle program. I can flatten them and put them in the trash chute area along with glass, plastics and paper. The carbon footprint will always be there because the truck is not just shipping that 1 item worth $1.19. its just along for the ride with the thousands of other items.

True, and this is why sometimes I just make the trip to the store. Less waste that way. I frequent CVS too, which is another place where they waste a lot. I signed up for electronic receipts, and it's much better. Before they would print almost and entire roll of paper between the receipts and the thousand and one coupons. Now you just click here and there and you have the same thing without the paper. I also bring my own paper bags or cotton bags rather than using the plastic bags.

What?!!!

Can I have your plastic bags then when you go shopping? They fit perfectly for the garbage can in my bathroom. Saved tons of money using those bags for my garbage bags rather than buying trash bags

I don't use plastic bags. That's my point. For trash, when I go to Whole Foods, if I don't reuse any bags or bring any, then I use those bags for garbage. I do however buy plastic bags for recycling or for laundry only, but those last almost half a year if not longer.

Target retail will price match their website. Download the Target app, scan an item's barcode, and it'll tell you the website price. Have them adjust at checkout as necessary. Plus the app gives Cartwheel discounts.

I've heard some people say that at certain Targets they refuse to do that.

It's company policy. If they refuse to do that, complain to a manager, or escalate to social media.

I should try it at the TriBeCa location then because their prices are double what they are online. Absurd.

I reuse boxes pretty regularly so this isn't as much of a problem, but it's definitely hilarious when it happens.
