I’d vote for Mike but the guy will be 80 when it’s time to serve so I wish him well in other pursuits. But if he runs, who’s going to be his VP pick, Christine Quinn ??

Bloomberg is a very competent person, I'd trust him.

I already wasn't thrilled with Bloomberg as mayor, but my irritation turned to fury when he bought himself an extra term. On the other hand, there's no question in my mind that he'd be a better president than Trump. But I think he should run as a Republican. In fact, I think if Bloomberg had run as a Republican in 2016, Trump wouldn't be president now.

He's kind of the anti-Trump: Calm, sedate, coherent, cultured, genuinely rich, genuinely philanthropic, not prey to endless scandals.
No.

Not a chance. His disdain for the 2nd Amendment is so great that he actually goes so far as to call anyone who wants a gun in their home "stupid". This goes beyond the normal anti-2nd rhetoric. At least people like Cuomo, et al, pay lip service to hunting. Bloomberg wants to ban ALL gun ownership... besides his armed guards of course.

He'll never be president. He's short, Jewish, possibly gay, has a whiny voice and is unable to relate to people who are not in his social and economic class.

He is a conservative in today Democratic party. As a mayor of New York for the most part continue on Rudy's policy, he was tough on crimes, stood against convicted felon, free market, supported welfare reform. He is crazy to think that he has a chance win in the primary of the socialist, identity politic Democratic party. The Democratic party shift is for candidate like Bernie, Ocasio-ocampo, Booker, Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warden, those unapologetic anti-capitalist identity politic candidate.

The Democratic party has varied opinions. Dems have more conservative leaning reps then the Republicans have moderate leaning reps for example.
