Its a bite of a long article but good read. To me it further proves the government should legalize prostitution.

Oh, calm down. I responded to Seventh before I read your two cents. Btw, I can respond however I want and will spank you back.

Also, I'm too busy simultaneously watching CNN and MSNBC right now. We do have a mad bomber on the loose y'know.
I'll read the article when I can pay proper attention. It's going to be a heavy read, I suspect.

I heard that Flushing was a hot bed for prostitution, but can't say I ever been there. The sad fact is women often place themselves in these situations, when you can make hundreds of dollars in one night or work a 12 shift as a waitress and earn a lot less doing more work, which one you going to pick? The most heartbreaking part of the article is where she called home telling them about how she is being abused, but they tell her she has no choice and has to keep doing it. A lot of the time women in these situations are sending a good part of the money they earn back home to support her family. You have to wonder if the family really cares about them at all, they are just there meal ticket so they can live the good life while these women slave away for the family.

Ive never been to one of these places in flushing but I know of many right in Midtown where clients usually go after a crazy day in the office to blow off steam or when they secure a multi-million dollar deal its time for an "team building exercise" or "off site client meeting". Yes, it all gets put on a company card and no one bats an eye.

Allot of these Asian women put themselves in this position and cant get themselves out due to the choices. I know a few females of other races that went from stripping to sex worker to prison back to sex working and managed to get out of the life because they secured enough money to go to school or start their own business. Some sold their body now they own a laundromat, same with some who end up owning a hair saloon or wax/eyebrow threading place...… Maybe these women are just not good with money to turn their life around and go legit or they end up getting too much too soon so they get caught up in it.

In a group where a forty-something woman qualifies as "young," there are probably not a lot of good earners. Hard to put together a nest egg on low pay.

Poor woman. She'd probably just had it and couldn't go through it again.

I don't have to read this article. I could write it.

Flushing has been inundated with 3rd world Chinese mafia sex traffickers that have ruined, and I mean RUINED, what were once beautiful residential neighborhood streets filled with families and kids (speaking English). It was such a great place to grow up (not that long ago). I truly believe the federal government must step in to fix Flushing since both law enforcement and local politicians are now on the pay roll of the mobsters. Just google "109 pct, corruption."
