Waiting for approval...timeline & anxiety NYC Housing Lottery (apartment, income)

I'm waiting for approval on an apartment building that only has one apartment in my income bracket. Here's my timeline:

7/20/18: interview
11/2/18: file submitted to HPD (I was told by the woman in charge of my file that she rejected two applicants in front of me, which made her able to submit my application)

I've been waiting for almost three weeks and dying with anxiety. I'm unsure if the apartment is even available anymore or if I'm getting approval for wait list. Please share all stories. please comfort lol.

probably will hear in early/mid dec and then asked again for updated bank statements since the last interview. and then get an answer by early jan.

Hi Silverbullnyc. I gave them updated bank statements in October. Do you think they'd need another round?

He doesn't know just like you don't or anyone knows. These lottery apps are all different. People come here all the time asking question and the truth is no one can answer you.

All i know is that after a few months you would always get asked once more for updated statements. I dont know if its asked 3 times.
