NYC's famous Dr. Ruth Westheimer is in the news later with her new documentary, and I happened to read that she's been in the same apartment for 54 years.

So, forget all that career stuff. The real question is, how much is her rent? Might even be truly rent-controlled.

Is she the lady that hosted that old Z100 radio show at 10pm on weekdays where they talk about sex?

WHO cares what her rent is ....she is entitled to live wherever she likes as long as it is not in apartments designated as affordable housing or are income restricted .

I saw her apartment on TV once. She lives in a co op in Washington Heights. She owns her apartment so she doesn't pay rent.

Also, she is also a hoarder. https://www.nytimes.com/video/reales...h-dr-ruth.html

I know it's on Cabrini Blvd but I don't think it's Castle Village because her place doesn't have the telltale herringbone floors. Although she could have replaced the floors, who knows.

She probably just has to pay some sort of maintenance fee to the building. At the end of the day, it looks like she BOUGHT the apt once the building decided to become a COOP.

At some point in time, a person has to stop renting and buy property. Renting make sense if you plan to leave in a couple of years but if you don't plan on leaving then just start saving for a down payment to buy.

Can you guess what big tidday Emily Ratajkowski's rent is??

IMO that's one of the best addresses in Upper Manhattan

3 bedroom there is over a mil easy

Even the address itself has a prestigious sound to it. I actually think it's the highest numbered address for a Manhattan street with a "west" prefix.
