When i was in NY a couple of years ago for a summer semester, our professor introduced us to a fantastic Ethiopian place, though i can't remember even its general location. Suffice it to say, it was love at first bite, and since it's nearly impossible to find such cuisine in my native Georgia, I'm ready to put an end to my cravings when I move to NY next month!
Any suggestions for quality, reasonably-priced Ethiopian places in the city? I am even willing to brave a trip into the other boroughs.
DITC....so now people who come on here looking for recommendations on restaurants are now verbally attacked and assaulted as being a yuppie? You are showing profound ignorance and are nothing more than a hate monger in these forums. You have lost any and all credibility in here...as you take great pride and pleasure in attacking those who are different from you, or who were not "lucky enough" to be born and raised in the NYC housing projects and ghetto lifetsyle.
Get over your anger/bitterness/ignorance about whatever problems you have with new people, Hipsters whatever, because the fact remains, it is not your city anymore than it is their city, or those that moved out to make room for you. If you continue to attack posters I will have you banned..you have been warned.
To the poster..do not let ignorant, small minded posters weigh on you...ignore them as do most people. Unfortunately I do not have any recommendations for Ethiopians resturants..however I have a very good Ethiopian friend that may help....I will let you know!
City Mouse...don't feed the troll......just ignore her comments..she was not being funny or cute..she actually despises you, Hipsters..or anyone else that is not a 3 generation welfare case from the housing projects. If you don't believe me feel free to review other posts from here...she is hateful.
Lol.....I am glad...that is exactly the attitude to have..as there are many people like DITC that specialize in hate around here. it's easy to get caught up in it too when you are surrounded by so many people and co many different cultures...don't fall for it. Enjoy the city...the diversity...the crowds..the resturants, the nightlife, the culture, the parks, the people.....leave the hate for everyone else.
As soon as my friend calls me back I will let you know of a couple good Ethiopian resturants. By the way..I lived in Marrieta during the summer of 1996 for an internship...I was there for the Olympics and it was really cool....I had a great time! I got to see one baseball game....it was a wonderful experience...I have always liked Atlanta since that time..and I have heard it has improved greatly since then.
