im a little confused here

Aren't the fast food places lumped in with the restaurants which subjects them to the same health inspections and letter ratings?

From the outside looking in, if see a place serves food and provide seating where I can dine onsite then its a "restaurant" in my book lol.

Poor immigrants, and poor people, and fast food chains, do not have high quality standards in food preparation. They probably cannot afford to either.

I have been in some food service places, and you can see the food prep and cooking.

Sauces, and condiments and what not fall all over the floor. That is what attracts, rats, mice, and insects. All that grease that ends up on the floor. And I have seen some of the floors. They cannot be cleaned. Some of the floors are plywood.

I will not name names though. I am not talking about places in the Bronx. I wonder how these places get away with it.
