My first thought was: Looney White Millennial Progressive who just saw a rerun of Lion King and thinks all the creatures of Africa are harmless and benevolent and she wanted to hug the majestic kitty kat and say Happy Kwanza.
The lion's just looking at her going, "Nah, b**ch. This is how you got my boy Harambe shot."
The lion couldn't get to her due to the natural barrier we cannot see due to elevation.
However that lion was looking at her confused like "why females always trying to set a man up, and im not even her species and she still trying. I aint getting shot for that." "yo, keeper, come get this beast out my den"
This was much less dangerous than the video makes it appear. There's is the protective moat that keeps the lions in the enclosure, between the woman and the lion. It can't get to her (and presumably her to it.) If you've ever seen a house cat in a window being driven nuts because it can't get to bird it sees outside, that' probably what the lion is going through.
Edit: the poster before me is saying essentially the same thing.

And I mentioned the moat on the previous page too lol.
Opinion:
I thought some Bipolar white kid too.........
Unless one knows the history of how the lion was obtained an educated guess would be
1) He was captured as a young lion by the local black villagers and sold to zoo coordinators.
This was the face connected to his early memories of freedom and therefore he was bewildered, confused or remembering....hmmmmm...
The woman caught on camera inside the Bronx Zoo’s lion enclosure has been identified as a Brooklyn resident — whose friends said she has gone off the rails in the past year.
The brazen daredevil, identified by sources as Myah Autry, 32, posted videos of her walk on the wild side to Instagram on Saturday.
We can clearly see why the lion looked confused. I would be confused too looking at a face like that. Is it a man? Is it a woman? Is it the clown from the spawn movie? Just what is it?
