Uh.oh..............................Any place with a bathroom is now a target.
I'll have an order of fries and do me a favor keep them warm while I boot up...............
If 35 and up it should be like what hasn’t one seen by now lol
As another poster said this hasn't been really out there since the 90's. And to see that it was mainly at certain subway stations like Jamaica Ave (last stop of the E train).
But I suppose if you live in Brooklyn you see it more often. Queens never had it that bad because the home ownership is higher which has somewhat of a correlation with lower drug addiction rates.
Yeah that is odd....I have been to that store location several times over the past 10 years and from my observation not too many derelicts....So this must be recent
I haven't ran into a druggie until recently. Coming out of a holiday party and taking the subway late at night wasn't a good idea. Ran into somebody that was virtually like a zombie from a video game. Luckily the person wasn't violent.
This was a common occurrence back in the day. There was heroin on every corner in the East side and many many people were strung out. We used to have a saying: when we would see someone bent over nodding at a 90 degree angle or better we called it "sucking toe." Just a little bit further and they'd have their own toes in their mouth.
Excuse me for not being surrounded by junkies. Guess I am a snowflake!
