So does anyone even care that the mayor gave her tax money for her pet project and then took some of that money to make a podcast show that she hopes will get her elected Boro President? Or Nah?

Must be nice to be a democratic politician in this state, do whatever you want, and know that no one will ever investigate you because everyone who should investigate you is a member of the same party.

Nothing wrong with that, as long as she uses her own money. She is essentially using taxpayer money for her commercial venture, masking it as some sort of 'public good'. Guess what? You can pretty much masquerade any other business venture as a 'public good' as well, after all businesses are there to provide services to the public. It is nothing but pure sophistry.
That is besides the point that she is not even an expert in the field and is not qualified to speak on it. There are plenty of other legitimate medical/health related podcasts out there.

Well if those who will contest the Brooklyn BP spot allow her to getaway with this its their fault. Mayor DeB isn't that popular and his wife doesn't have a large following to offset that. Machine politics might benefit her, but then its up to others to offset that. What record does she have to run on? A failed mental health initiative at a time when the whole city is filled with sad sould with mental health issues that she has done nothing to resolve.

There are already many suicide prevention lines, so if she offered yet another one it was a huge waste.
