Bets?
So not even the violent death of this poor woman is off limits?? What's wrong with you??

With the summer violence season upon us we must maintain complete and undivided focus on the Ahmaud Arbery tragedy. No deviation will be tolerated. Celebrities have commented on the case - this is your cue that you should take their lead and focus on how tragic this was. The continued victimization here absolves an entire ethnic group for any responsibility for any behavior EVER!. Now is the time to ensure your complete and total focus on Abery until advised that focus should shift.

Arbury's case called everyone's attention because it was racially charged (in the South on top of that), had the full package (pick-up truck, confederate flag...) and claimed to be "serving justice", when in reality it was a modern day lynching, not something that happens on a daily basis.

The horrible video you're posting is some severely mentally ill individual, who randomly attacked a woman. It's sad but it's a very common urban phenomenon.

You're comparing apples and oranges.

Crime and punishment in this country doesn't take into account the victim died or not. It only takes into the account that did the criminal intentionally want to kill the victim or not? Say the woman died later as a result of her being strangled or fallen to the ground. The lawyer would argue that his client did not mean to kill her and she just happened to not survive. So if this woman in fact did die from her injuries this guy will only serve at most 6-9 years before being let out because he didn't intend to kill her. It is up to the family to go after the criminal in a civil case that the criminal taken a life away and he needs to be accountable and usually criminals never have a dime to give.

That's how the US criminal justice system works, in some other countries the guy would get either life or death sentence as a result regardless of intention or not because there's no civil case in a criminal trial in those countries.

This is why in America, you should always try not to become the victim of a violent crime because it is never fair to the victims. Better to be safe than be sorry.

Full size is a tad big for carry but it’s not like we can carry here in the nyc metro area.

It doesn’t happen in urban areas larger than nyc such as Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore but it’s a common occurrence here in the states.
Makes you wonder why.

Again comparing apples and oranges.

Hong Kong and Shangai, China, a dictatorship where journalists get locked up, officials who stand up against the government disappear, Hong Kong, soon to become fully China again despite the protests. You can't breathe in China, every movement you make is suspicious. Not to mention their culture of neighborhood patrols who scrutinize you andsnitch if you drop a paper on the ground, for which you lose points on your social credit, keeping you from buying airline or train tickets, or getting a loan until you redeem yourself.
Singapour, a city-state, just like Monaco and San Marino, ruled by what ethnic group? The Chinese !! And Singapour is not as populated as NYC, even less its metro area.

Japan, low unemployment rate, not a dictatorship but extremely stern and discipline-oriented culture, where misbehaving gets you shamed and dishonored. What it has in common with China is the collective spirit, people are not individuals, they're here to serve the Nation.

Now in the States, especially NYC, we're talking about the most selfish-minded, individualistic people.
But guess what? All this in the name of the principle of Liberty isn't it?

Wanna compare the States with other countries? Compare with the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Germany... not with Asian countries.

Now to quote your "makes you wonder why", what are you assuming is the cause in the States?

Great news, the suspect has been nabbed.

https://nypost.com/2020/05/24/police...c-sex-assault/

Frankie Harris, 38, of Bushwick, has been charged with attempted murder, rape and sexual abuse in connection to the assault that left the victim in a vegetative state.
