I don't need a safe space but the blatant racism in this thread and other threads is a bit disturbing especially in a city as diverse as NYC.
If we transplanted the majority of this forum to upstate NY or Mississippi nobody would be shocked.
No, this forum represents NYC very much so. The majority of people I know in NYC are all so called "blatant racists" that you said. NYers know how to call out people as it should be. NYers never play the fake PC conformists.

That's fair but let's be honest, a lot of stuff being written here, if it had your real name and your work saw it, you'd likely be fired.
Like it or not, it's a new age where you need to be PC and be careful what you write/say.
Can you be more specific on what you believe is racist?
