Over 900 new cases. I agree this might happen. Its looking bad for a lot of the country. There will have to be some solution somewhere, as Covid is here to stay until a vaccine or herd immunity happens. We cannot keep locking down, then reopening once numbers go back up. At that point just lockdown everything for a month countrywide like some other countries did and get it over with.

What a nightmare this thing is.

Today's update on the numbers:

62,403 tests were performed yesterday. 726 tests came back positive (1.16% of total).

Total hospitalizations fell to 844.

Sadly, there were 11 COVID fatalities yesterday.

11 covid19 deaths

62,403 tested, 726 came back positive.. 11 deaths..

And you want to shut NYC down? I think we'll be okay bubble boy. As long as Gov Coumo and his goonions dont stick the sick right on top of the vulnerable!

Most NYers seem to be pro lockdown
"In red states" when did covid19 become political or was it political this whole time designed by the media. Anyway, if Florida is considered a red state, the Governor there said he wasnt shutting the state back into a lockdown.

I do NOT want the city/state to shut down again. But if the numbers keep going up, I can see Cuomo doing it again.

Yes it is...if you can't go to a bar (among other places) you're not out of lockdown.

Though, the cases went back down again. Let's hope this stays under 1000 and hopefullly we can avoid another lockdown.
