The fact that Trump - a man in his 70's who is overweight was able to beat COVID shows that this flu is well... just a flu. I know so many people who have gotten this covid, including my aunt who is 77 and a diabetic, but who have recovered completely.
I'm getting a bit tired of these politicians pretending that this COVID is some disease like Ebola. If people are dying from COVID it's because they have underlying and preexisting health problems. They should stay home and wear a mask if they choose to do so.
I also find that politicians are using COVID as a way to control the public with mask wearing BS and worse - lockdowns.

I wonder what his reaction to Cuomo's briefing today was. Cuomo gave the impression that De Blassio just gave lip service to enforcing restrictions on bar and restaurants that is was actually his state task force that did the enforcing. Cuomo is going to meet with the rabbis tomorrow. If you listen to this radio host he acts like he's the leader of the community.
The city has been distributing free masks to these neighborhoods. You can see in recent amateur video some people where them but anecdotally it looks like make 25%.
I was in midtown today I would say 75% pf people wearing masks.
These ultra orthodox neighborhoods are a lot more communal and a lot more people routinely gather.
On the other hand many may not leave to frequently to spread it elsewhere.
Hopefully some of these rabbis will come to some agreements with Cuomo on Wednesday.
My fear is the herd immunity that most of NYC acquired back in March/April is dying off. If that's the case, we're all f'd until that damn vaccine gets here.

Facts. I'm not going to take the vaccine. I'll sit back & watch other people be the guinea pigs in this one.
I'll just continue to wear a mask until the vaccine is proven to be effective. It's not such a big deal.
