Nah, that’s never gonna happen. Virtually everyone in the city is going to be voting the same way they did in 2016. Orthodox neighborhoods like Borough Park have always voted red. Just because they’re being more vocal about it does not mean Trump is actually getting any more support. The only borough that’s going to have a majority vote for Trump is SI. Manhattan is practically fully blue, the highest concentration of Republican voters there is the UES because it’s full of Wall St guys that want to pay less taxes, and even the majority of them (I.E. right leaning centrists or social liberals/fiscal conservatives) are anti-Trump, except for his own circle of buddies. Bronx only has a few minimal republican pockets, and Brooklyn and Queens are basically split between the democratic-leaning urban areas and the republican-leaning suburban areas.
I think this is great. Can't remember the last time I've seen this type of enthusiasm in the NYC area for a candidate
I'm really hoping that this is the start of a trend in New York. The tradition of voting Democrat in your state and your big city has got to change, especially in light of recent events. With the enthusiasm this high, and to borrow a phrase from our President, I ask all New Yorkers this: "What have you got to lose?".....
