Since covid-19 hit more people are getting cars and driving; question then becomes where to find parking? Hahaha...

City has taken away so many spots between bike lanes and now GD outdoor restaurant seating that spots are at a premium. This of course sooner or later leads to drivers beefing over spots.

Have noticed more and more buildings at least on UES putting cones out to reserve space in front of their building. We're not talking about just width of front door, but entire frontage of property.

I've independently made the same observation. Nobody sane takes the subway with the infected muggers anymore they keep cars as close to their dwellings as possible and drive everywhere. Out of area are no longer taking NJT or MNRR

I can understand your worry. Parking is no joke here! If I had that much trouble, I'd definitely consider a place upstate with a garage.

If you cannot afford to rent a space in a parking lot in NYC. especially Manhattan, you cannot afford a car. Simple as that.

Why would you park on a bike path? You should just get a bike.

That works great especially when wearing a suit in freezing rain

The bike lanes don't necessarily effect parking so much, but they seriously aggravate traffic congestion. They need to be eliminated for that reason.

Hahaha No thank you. I don't have a death wish.

Pretty much any other mode of transportation is preferable to biking, including walking.
