Sense of smell is taken for granted. Now you are unable to determine if your food smells spoiled. Or is something is burning. Whatever. Missing the social aspect has been tough on everyone but we have to buckle down and beat this thing, send it back to where it came from. North America does not catch plagues like this, crazy.

Well back in the day they quarantined people who came in through Ellis Island. Now people just hop on and off planes going every where around the world.

I was on the 4 Train yesterday going past Yankee Stadium. Certain sections you can see inside as it goes by. It was so strange seeing people in the stands...all spread out at that. I'm used it being empty. Or back in 2019, it being packed.

I lost my sense of smell and taste for about 5-6 days. It gradually came back over the following week and was fine after.

You're lucky. As well as those who had it with absolutely no symptoms. It's like you won the lottery.
