Yep, and both Buffalo and Rochester are among the coolest major cities on average of the lower 48 save along with a few West Coast and high altitude cities: https://www.currentresults.com/Weather-Extremes/US/coldest-cities-summer.php

Buffalo got some good bones. Wish it had nice waterfront beaches.

My mistake, thanks!

San Francisco is so weird weather wise. I was there for 3 weeks one October and one day I'd be in a jacket and the next I'd be sweating. It's the most ping pongy weather I've ever been in.

Nahh I think NYC has SF weatherwise beat, we get it all, it can be 80 high 35 low, not to mention we get hurricanes and we are at sea level

It really isn't very hot outside (low 70's last time one checked), just incredibly moist.

First going out it isn't noticeable; but as you go a few blocks you're getting sticky and wet.

Walked from Lexington over to Rainbow Hardware on First and even before getting to Second was already moist and wet. Turns out Rainbow now (like everyone else) closes earlier so needn't have bothered. Could have stayed home in nice AC and ordered from Amazon....

Surprisingly, I didn't think it was as humid as Monday night. I don't know what it was about last Monday where the humidity was so unbearable. But today, it was tolerable and I didn't mind being outside at all today. I thought it was nice, but then again, I love hot weather.

Are you nuts?!? Monday and today were both brutal. The humidity made it feel like 94.
