I need help. I'm an Asian female getting tested for covid regularly at CityMDs around the city since the pandemic started. The lines were 2-3 hours long during most of 2020. People were agitated and stressed, this was before the vaccine came out. After I made a verbal complaint to management about 3 people cutting the line, one of the 3, a (white) man twice my size and weight, waited for me to come out from testing 20 minutes later, followed me out, and violently assaulted me, shoving me hard onto the sidewalk. I called the police, but they let him go after 2 hours, and put me in an ambulance in the emergency room, where I was treated for 12 hours. I needed surgery for a badly fractured wrist soon after. I'm wondering, has anyone seen or experienced other such violence at a CityMD or other testing site at any time in 2020? There was no security guard there at the time. I wish CityMD had done something. If you remember any such similar altercation or violence at a CityMD or any Covid Testing site around New York City last year in 2020, would you please let me know? Thank you in advance.

Are you looking for witnesses? If so, you may have better lock posting in the NYC forum.

There is a buddy system app/program that was developed but I can't remember the name.

My best advice is limit your contact to high traffic areas. There are people being randomly attacked by mentally disturbed individuals all over the city.

You need to figure out a way to have male friends or family accompany you and ask for workplace accommodations. Such as no night shifts or an escort to the parking lot etc.

The first thing that puzzles me is why you're getting tested regularly instead of getting vaccinated.

However, that aside, what is your goal? I don't 'think you can blame City MD for the attack since this happened outside.
