The decorating sucks but you're not paying for that anyway, even if it comes fully furnished. I'm sure the building is crap though, and I would never live that high up. I've been on the top floors of buildings half that height and they can sway a bit when it gets windy. No thanks.
This building was built for a market that likely no longer exists (big offshore money that's looking for a safe parking space.) The Feds cracked down on that money somewhat, and the Covid recession but a ding in its volume. I have a feeling this apartment will sit for quite some time, and eventually go for much less than ask.
The craziest thing is that the Saudi guy who owns this unit bought it in 2016 for $88M, and now he's selling it five years later for $169M. Obviously nobody thinks it'll sell for that price, but still.
