If you look back to when stop and frisk was being stopped, those few of us on this forum were upset because we KNEW this was the future of NYC. We weren't racist, we just wanted to preserve the low crime we all worked hard to achieve. This was the inevitable outcome and it happened.
Are all of these shootings and murder worth saving a handful of people from being "Wrongfully stopped and frisked"? You tell me.
My primary question is, who will be the target of stop and frisk? Will stop and frisk be used randomly by NYPD throughout all boroughs, or just in low income Black/Brown neighborhoods?

Someone please correct my if I am wrong, but I'm under the impression that stop and frisk was meant to target the areas where crime is high. Not necessarily a specific type of person. However, because in these specific high crime areas, the residents are primarily a particular group of people, its easily labeled as a racist practice.

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.
One important question that will need to be addressed is, what types of crime will be primarily targeted... For example, if Stop and Frisk was re-instituted, would it primarily be used to thwart illegal gun usage and drug dealing/drug purchasing?
To truly address the crux of the issue, law enforcement has to not only focus on the inner city low income areas, but also the people who are the primary funders and suppliers of criminal enterprises throughout NYC. Regretfully, there is not enough focus on the latter, because many of those people tend to reside in the upper income "respectable," NYC neighborhoods.
Stop and frisk was never an issue with Chinatown or other Asian communities. We are also minorities. Hmm. I wonder why the problem is always with Black and Hispanic gun crime.
See that's the problem, he/she thinks there is a "Police killing black people for no reason" epidemic. Because that's what everyone tells him/her.
But if they were to look up actual statistics they wouldn't believe the low number, because that's not what they have been told. So they continue to believe the lie.
The REAL epidemic is black/brown people killing black/brown people. DAILY.
Shhh.......don't speak the truth. Not offending or hurting one's feelings is waaaaaaaay more important than actual facts.
LOL. Pay better and train better. That will stop the crime!
No it won’t ..criminals and gang members are not working jobs nor could most because of hard core drugs and back ground checks. Many speak English so poorly you can’t even understand them as an employer .
You are dreaming if you think anything will change
