I was surprised to find out that Cynthia Nixon lives on East 32nd Street.

Decidedly unglamorous.

When I was a kid, used to see a lot of Jets and Mets players in and around my neighborhood. Mid 80s/early 90s. NE Queens, about 15 minutes from Shea stadium. So I guess it made sense. Most players today, with the big money, probably all live in Manhattan.

Autumn 1985. Sunday around 12noon. We'd play two hand touch football in front of my house after church. Suddenly this red sports car (probably a corvette or camaro, can't remember) pulls up as its driving by. Out comes Joe Klecko and Wesley Walker. They threw catch with us for about 10 minutes then headed off to Shea for their 4pm game. Remember it like yesterday. No selfies back then.

I live in Riverdale and have seen several Yankees who
Live near me over the years.
The most recent I saw was Michael Pineda who was easy to spot since he's about 6 foot 7

I knew about Cynthia Nixon because her contact information was part of my job. So no surprise there.

Not terribly, but then the only times I've met celebrities has been in SoHo and TriBeCa.

Born and raised New York City......................

Don't no where to begin..............thugs, politicians, sports figures, stars and royalty...............

The human interactions made me feel comfortable around them.

Never Star Struck..................just memorable experiences.
