Nope. In fact my whole career until the very end when it mattered most, I never liked overtime at all. 18 years of avoiding most of it only to suddenly get hundreds of pensionable hours dumped in my lap over 3 weeks. I hit the lottery and promptly retired early!

Australia started out as a literal penal colony. Jamaica doesn't have high crime because the most "recalcitrant" slaves were supposedly sent there.

To be honest sounds like an old wives tale to me. I'm sure some slaves were more amenable than others but if you're outright rebellious, you'd just get killed or tortured.
Jamaica is very violent because it's a poor country even relative to the other islands.
They love to celebrate their third world (jobless, unproductive) countries but don't go back to live there. Funny how that works.
...and the ones who come here usually work bout 3, 4, 5 jobs, but you completely omit that fact.. oh ok. got it
