I care because I work in the area and was a few blocks from here when this apparently went off. Sorry, but shootings in Midtown are not normal. Maybe you're used to this chaos living in the hood, but we don't go around shooting people where I live and definitely not where I work. Take that transplant crappola line to someone else.

Even the upper East Side has shootings now. That is what the residents (who refuse to vote or engage with their political representatives/who vote for silly woke, soft on crime politicians) want.
Until the NYC residents realize they deserve better. It is like an abusive relationship. People wonder why the victims/abused put up with it. The victim sees it as normal, until something drastic happens.
