This will work out well for those in the outer boroughs . The steal sign is on in Manhattan, so most of the skells will head there.

better lock-up those Louis Vuitton bags...there's an even greater ''shortage'' of retail workers on the horizon as well.

Chicago 2.0.
And that mayor is demanding people stop working from home.
Hilarious.

Manhattan DA already refused to prosecute Andrew Cuomo for killing elderly in nursing homes.

Just look to Detroit, Chicago and other cities to see where this is going.

But quite honestly Manhattan residents deserve what's coming to them, as city overall. Barely 17% of eligible voters bothered last November, that's lower than when Sam The Eagle won first time around.

Four years of this minority rule of NYC and people will welcome someone like Rudy G back like a conquering hero.

Mostly the poor vote hoping for a change. Those who make good money don’t give a crap who’s in charge. They make bank and live outside the city. It very obvious.
Republicans base usually owns home. Those homes are outside NYC mostly. Lot of rental homes in NYC area.

Post updated the article to have the memo.

Literally he just encouraged criminals to bring guns with them to commit crimes. It’s only petit larceny now. That’s insane. Forgot about the store workers saftey that doesn’t count

Armed robbers who use guns or other deadly weapons to stick up stores and other businesses will be prosecuted only for petty larceny, a misdemeanor, provided no victims were seriously injured and there’s no “genuine risk of physical harm” to anyone

Burglars who steal from residential storage areas, parts of homes that aren’t “accessible to a living area” and businesses located in mixed-use buildings will be prosecuted for a low-level, class D felony that only covers break-ins instead of for more serious crimes.
Drug dealers believed to be “acting as a low-level agent of a seller” will be prosecuted only for misdemeanor possession. Also, suspected dealers will only be prosecuted on felony charges if they’re also accused of more serious crimes or are actually caught in the act of selling drugs.
It seems like a few black activists racial resentment supported by guilt-ridden woke hipsters is going to lead to the total destruction of the city.

Actually Staten Island has one of the best district attorneys! But as you say the Island is a place where people largely own their homes, thus have deeper vested interest in keeping things nice.
