You've included fair a number of maps. Perhaps you can describe the specific themes that interest you about those locations--if there's something they all share in common that you wonder might be similar to neighborhoods in NYC? That might be helpful.

I was thinking just in terms of look.

All are pretty much old money areas of these cities and are still middle class areas, that are largely single family occupied. I believe that all are historic areas as well.

First ones that comes to mind are Forest Hills Gardens in Queens and Fieldston in the Bronx (Riverdale). Both are high-income neighborhoods with predominantly older homes, though the streets are nowhere near as wide as those show from the upstate cities.

Some newer, and still expensive, suburban-style homes can be found in the outer neighborhoods of Queens like this one in Bayside

Middle Class, old money, single family homes? Historical districts? That's helpful.

In Brooklyn, there are some areas like that called â€Victorian Flatbush," which includes Ditmas Park. The folks who live there might not necessarily be old money, but they are likely to be comfortable, if not well off.

I would imagine many areas in Staten Island also resemble what you've described.

What about these neighborhoods?

South Main Street, Geneva: https://www.google.com/maps/@42.8660...2!9m2!1b1!2i37

Center Square, Hudson/Park, Albany: https://www.google.com/maps/@42.6530...2!9m2!1b1!2i37

Washington Park, Troy: https://www.google.com/maps/@42.7236...6!9m2!1b1!2i37

The Stockade, Schenectady: https://www.google.com/maps/@42.8184...2!9m2!1b1!2i37

Hawley-Green, Syracuse: https://www.google.com/maps/@43.0542...2!9m2!1b1!2i37

Grove Place, Downtown Rochester: https://www.google.com/maps/@43.1597...2!9m2!1b1!2i37

West Village, Buffalo: https://www.google.com/maps/@42.8928...2!9m2!1b1!2i37

Again, all are pretty historic and trendy to some degree, but not necessarily too pricy.
