You are unbelievably RUDE, and 250sg is not that small for a single person.
Depends on the person, my Walk in closet and bathroom in my bedroom are about 260 sq ft. Smallest I ever lived in was 600 sq ft that was in NYC. Is 250 livable sure if you are comfortable with that, there is no denying that is a small amount of space any where in the country outside Manhattan.
The only relatively safe areas for anyone in NYC these days would be North East Queens, Southern Brooklyn and parts of Staten Island. Anywhere else and you are taking chances for sure.
Harlem? Hellz no.
Southern Queens is safe too: Howard Beach, Belle Harbor

My kid lives in 250 sq ft now . She is like her mom a minimalist
