I was more of an Agatha Christie fan than Sherlock Holmes but you may want to check this out if you're a fan & happen to be in the area. Seems interesting.

Glen Miranker knows a thing or two about Sherlock Holmes, the fictional detective created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

In fact, he has collected nearly 8,000 books, manuscripts and artworks connected to Holmes, who first appeared in 1887 along with friend and associate Dr. John Watson in the novel "A Study in Scarlet."

What You Need To Know:

"Sherlock Holmes in 221 Objects" is a new exhibition at The Grolier Club on the Upper East Side

Holmes first appeared along with friend and associate Dr. John Watson in "A Study in Scarlet"
