If that is the case, then the free market will correct it at some point. If the board selects the wrong CEO, he fails their company and their competitor beats them out. The board and CEO will be replaced. The free market works so efficiently.
Only the Left hates it because they get most of their support from the lower classes with their populist rhetoric (hate the rich, we are helping you the poor, etc.).
If you've ever worked near c_suite it's easier to understand. It's easy to come up with excuses and most are smart enough to jump ship long before **** hits the fan.
Oh course there are exceptional/visionary CEOs (usually founders) and c-suite execs but they really are few and far between. Most are no different than you and I.

Well morons do tend to have more kids and have them at younger ages.
You all can try to find people to be mad at instead of fixing your own lives all you want, but when your parents need someone to wipe their asses, the person doing it instead of you will likely be living in public housing.
So why aren't these people fixing their own lives and paying their cheap rent?
At this point, NYCHA should probably just not charge any rent. What percentage of the overall budget was funded by rent payments? Many lower-income working people were disproportionately affected by the lockdowns, as they couldn't work remotely.
