Man busted for shooting sanitation worker defending daughter in Hell’s Kitchen is her ex boyfriend’s brother
https://www.nydailynews.com/new-york...nuu-story.html

Quote:
"Supporting his brother in a quarrel with his ex-teen girlfriend’s sanitation worker father led Andrew Tracey to be arrested Friday on attempted murder and other charges, police said."
Some outlets have the full video. I didn't link it because it's pretty graphic and disheartening. Happened in broad day light, but not in Harlem or Brooklyn, in Midtown:

Quote:
"The shooting occurred as the sanitation worker showed up to W. 52nd St. near 10th Ave. after receiving a call from his 15-year-old daughter that she was arguing with her ex-boyfriend, sources said."
Thankfully the sanitation worker should recover and be okay. The young man who did the shooting is also lucky he didn't end up killing the worker because he very well could have and would've faced a long sentence as the incident was caught on video in broad day with many witnesses in a pretty busy part of the city.

We don’t see the ex-boyfriend assaulting the girl but we do see the sanitation worker walking over to the boyfriend, throwing him down and repeatedly kicking him in the head when he was down. I am surprised the sanitation worker hasn’t been charged with assault.

This is technically a domestic dispute, everybody knew each other and this could have happened anywhere

Since when did people think that nothing could ever go down in Manhattan?

Garbage men think they can get away with anything and everything. They hold on to their city jobs like a Pope. Unless it's a racketeering charge, Virtually nothing can get them fired. It's a shame this guy's aim wasn't better. He should have walked up to him and put 3 in his head to make sure he never got up again. I LOVE that after the shooter popped this jerkoff that they got in the shot guys Benz and rolled off with it. ****ing GLORIOUS! These guys shouldn't be charged as it appears it was self-defense.

I DON’T support shooting anyone but from what’s shown in the video it was felony assault by the sanitation worker when he was kicking the guy in the head when he was down. A cop couldn’t get away with charging a guy, throwing him down and kicking him repeatedly. Why should a sanitation worker? Because the guy insulted his daughter? If he had threatened to shoot her, call the cops. The average citizen can’t commit felony assault because of a threat.
