Agreed. The criminals only respect toughness. These animals see compassion and kindness as weakness. If they see that society goes soft on crime, this emboldens them even more.
Silly Leftists see only the race of the criminals and lump them in with the law abiding ones hence all this kowtowing to criminals because most are black and brown.
We can borrow the corporal punishment sections from Sharia law.
Theft? - Cut off the (left) hand with a sword. Theft again? (cut off both hands).
Murder? - Cut off the head with a sword.
Drug sales? - Overdose on their own supply or hanging.
Assault? - Public whipping including by the victim or their family.
Rape? - Stoning.
Particularly heinous crimes also allow the concept of poetic justice where the victim or their family gets to strike the killing blow. For example, Iranian law allows a victim or the family of a victim of a hit and run driver to slowly drive a truck over the condemned man's legs to make him a cripple or kill him outright.
What are the chances that the perp who murdered this poor NYC woman would be Asian (or white)? Very slim.

In the US crime within Asians is relatively low - therefore I also agree Asian Americans are the least likely to commit violent crime (not stating it can't/doesn't happen). However, based on those same statistics violent crime is defined as assault/sexual assault, murder, rape and robbery. Which in 2019 Blacks led in robberies/murders while White led in rape, assault/sexual assault (including children).
Now outside of the US (from what I know) in Bangladesh and India rape is quite common (including children), unfortunately women who actually report rapes are often humiliated and ostracized therefore most rapes aren't reported and the ones that do get reported there's less than a 5% change of the victim receiving justice.
Isn't Honduras or El Salvador the leading country for murder rates though? I thought the top three countries were Latin American.
