I was on the train yesterday when showtime showed up. A homeless men kept telling the guys not to dance but they did anyway. Once they started the guy got angry but left. Can't help to wonder what the person who stabbed the guy looks like.
LoL. I don't feel bad for the BreakDancer. I can't stand those mf'ers. Hopefully this discourages those clowns.
My first thought! The gymnasts who force you to move lest you get kicked in the face are the worst. The Mexican guys playing the guitar are the only enjoyable traveling entertainers.
But Eric Adams wants Wall Street to get workers back on the train
Wall Street employers are stuck with huge office leases so of course they want employees back at their desks. Once those leases run out - goodbye! WFH beats riding the subway/LIRR/MNRR/NJT/buses into and out of NYC every damn day. The real issue is that the city & state needs the higher income suburban workers back in the city so they can be taxed. Many WFH workers were 'reporting' to local offices of their companies located outside of NYC or NYS and were not subject to local income taxes.
A relative lives in Westfield, NJ. He was working for a large company in midtown. His firm has an office in Princeton, NJ. He happily does WFH and since he's in the same state as the Princeton office he's done with paying a penny to NYS/NYC.
