How much longer will NYC’s obsession with COVID last? (Philadelphia: dangerous, stores)

I personally would be just as happy not to have to wear a mask indoors anymore. Of course. I'd also love to not to have to put on sunscreen every morning. Seat belts are even more annoying. Sometimes you have to take some precautions in the face of risks. Adults can cope with minor inconveniences. I don't know about you, but I stopped being a toddler a few decades ago.
It's so stupid, people are getting covid left and right now at my job only no one has any symptoms. They only know they have it due to having to test at least 3 x a week. We need to stop this nonsense and just get back to living like we did pre covid.

Yup, it’s barely anything now. We had it this past week. Two years ago, I’d have been saying I had a cold.
People are free to wear masks if they choose. I give no one a hard time for it.
Masks work best when everyone is wearing it as it limits the spread better that way. That’s what we’re trying to do… slow the spread and flatten the curve. Can’t do that when some people are roaming around maskless breathing on other people.

Looks like more and more people will be maskless moving forward with the TSA saying they won't enforce the mask mandate any more.
I'm still going to wear a mask on planes and trains.
Everywhere else, if I have one on me and the place is asking.

And that bolded part is what you call living prudently and exactly how I expect people to behave. At this point, I don't expect people wear masks everywhere they go. But if it's a cramped, indoor setting, please put one on! So many people not wearing them in church, in the subway and even in small, crowded stores; it's crazy! If you're outdoors where there's not a lot of people or even in a big indoor place like a mall or department store that's not overly crowded and cramped, then fine, I might be ok with people maskless.

Philadelphia's mask mandate for indoors started tonight and the news was taking note of all the people at the 76ers game who were not wearing their mask. How can someone eat and drink and cheer at a basketball game with a mask on? lol
