So with all these cameras where are the photos and videos of this nutjob?
Cameras at every station. So depending where he takes his mask off and if the cameras catch that which I assume they will. Its a stupid crime, but it takes some good planning to stay away from cameras.
I heard this interview on CNN with a guy who was in the train car where it happened. He's saying that people were trying to get to the next car for obvious reasons, but that the doors between cars were locked.
Can they do that? I thought they have to keep them unlocked exactly for this reason.
Some trains have always had the doors locked. Now it’s illegal to walk between cars but I don’t know if they lock the doors of the trains that used to have them unlocked.

Those emergency exit doors at the ends of the cars on the 75' subway cars are locked because of the gap that is created when the trains take a switch or when they are traveling through a curve. The gap would allow for someone crossing from one car to another to fall onto the roadbed. These cars are the R46 and R68 class, which run on the A, C, B, D, N, and Q trains.
The New Technology Trains (NTT) are 60' long and don't create a gap, so those end doors remain unlocked. These cars run on A, C, E, F, R, M, J, Z, L. I'm sure I missed some.
Curious what the motive was. Anyone care to guess?
The top suspects are always adherents of the self professed religion of peace that is famed for its promotion of women's rights, LGBTQ tolerance, love of other religions, and flying airplanes into skyscrapers.
Gotta love the politicians (and reporters) babbling on about how New Yorkers come together, help each other, blah, blah, blah. Do they think people in other cities, states, countries don't help each other?

No need to call out the evangelicals like that, man, we don't know who this was yet.
