How do you be in a house and not hear? I can't for the life understand how in the same house, someone being brutally murdered, and not hear a thing? did anything break during a struggle?

or

Maybe the son did hear, and didn't care?

If he's like my nephew he likely was gaming with headphones on.

The police had reported the son was sleeping. Whether he was sleeping or was gaming, it is odd that he wouldn’t hear something with the mother being stabbed to death one floor below. Also it seems odd the police took him away in handcuffs rather than just interviewing him at the scene or asking him to come to the police station. But they got the guy so it probably doesn’t matter.

Everyone describes this lady as so wonderful, sweet, nice, I don't get how she didn't realize that this man was disturbed and very strange. This Post article describes him as being known as the neighborhood creep who was a nuisance and pest to local women. You just would never think in a million years that THIS was the guy this woman was having a thing with.

well, this can be possible depending on the placement of the bedrooms to the location of the basement. His door could have of been closed as well.

I know, he could be a regular kid that was just asleep. I didn't think the son did it in the first place.

This all sounds like a TV show. I wonder how the husband feels about this situation. His cheating wife and mother of his kids is now dead. Maybe he was unaware of her infidelities and this could all be a huge, sad and horrible shock to him. And what about the boys? Jesus. What a terrible situation for everyone involved.
Judging by her photos she seems like an attention seeking, "look at me" type that thinks she's too good for her husband. The husband should have seen the red flags when his wife is constantly trying to show the world how attractive she was.

There was a detail in one of the articles, not sure which one, that said the handyman was upset that she was texting 4 guys. Does this mean he had access to her phone prior in the relationship? otherwise, how would he know. Weird.

Another question to ask: the handyman found her text messages with other men, but her husband didn't see them?
