Asian people are constantly bullied by outside groups. Then the father of the child is arrested after the assailants follow his kid home, enter their property, armed with baseball bats, and screaming death threats and racial slurs.

You are Canadian and know very little about the U.S. except for reading this forum and from news from the liberal mainstream media and from your occasional visits (LOL). The multiculturalism in the U.S. for a very long time was only limited to the big coastal cities. Even then, these cities up until the last decade or so, still have a white majority, keeping all the tribalism at bay. Furthermore, the different ethnicities tend to voluntarily segregate themselves as well, reducing conflict for the most part but that won’t last once the whites become a minority.
The various groups will be in conflict with each other, among other things, including for power and control. And for that reason, you can bet that tribalism will appear and all the conflicts that we see on the world stage will appear here as well. The Leftist multicultural utopia they envision will never materialize.

Wow, can't believe a 24 yr old guy would dare to attack a minor.
I would see this akin to certain men beating women despite they know that on average men are physically stronger then women and a man should never hit a woman regardless of the situation. Some people don't have self control.
To let reason dictate things in all situations is something everybody isn't able to do. I guess this is similar to some people having a short fuse and very easily are made angry while others in the same situation can keep their calm for much longer.
With that said, everyone has their limits. The only things that changes is that some can endure for much longer a situation where they are having their emotions picked.
I think most people with a short fuse return to reason after the fact and then regret what they have done. You can't undo what is done similar to you can't unsee what is seen.
So, while it isn't ideal or common from a 24-year-old man to beat a 13-year-old boy, it isn't particularly shocking. Not justifying it, but the 13-year-old most likely was being annoying to the 24-year-old on purpose. He probably thought the age difference would had kept the 24-year-old in check. Think again... A 24-year-old doesn't do this out of nowhere and with no provocation.
