Eric Adams warns migrant crisis could bankrupt NYC

The ongoing migrant crisis could leave New York City bankrupt, Mayor Eric Adams warned Wednesday — while repeatedly refusing to blame President Biden’s lax border policies.

Adams — who’s asked the federal government for $1 billion to pay for migrant housing and services — said there were “real dollar amounts” tied to the state of emergency he declared in October.

This is an expensive endeavor that we are in and we have to find ways of carrying out this task without bankrupting the city,” he said.

As of Sunday, about 35,700 migrants have flooded into New York City since the spring and more than 24,000 were being housed in 68 emergency shelters and processing centers, according to the latest official statistic

If Title 42 ends NYC could see 75,000 migrants by end of 2023 push total to 2 billion dollars in spending

Don't worry, come new Congress Schumer and Jeffries will have Adam's back.

There are all sorts of ways to earmark federal funds for NY or NYC via budgeting process and Schumer knows every one.

The Big Apple will begin setting up large tents to house intake centers and cots for the flood of migrants arriving daily as the months-long influx from the southern border has overwhelmed city shelters, Mayor Eric Adams announced Thursday.

The announcement contained few specifics. It says the first emergency tent shelter will be set up at Orchard Beach in the Bronx and that migrants will likely spend between one and four days in the facilities.

It does not say how many beds will be provided or what the costs might be.

City Hall’s press release does not even mention the word “bed,” but officials included an image of rows of cots lined up inside an image of one of the temporary structures.

The caption for the photo read: “A past example of what the inside of a Humanitarian Emergency Response and Relief Center will look like that would only shelter single adults. Families would be sheltered in a humanitarian relief center with a different setup.”

Like in Chiraq. Mayor lighthead claimed it was a sanctuary city and welcomed illegals. BUT when they actually came she went nuts over it! And then snuck them out to the suburbs to deal with them as she did not want them lol.

And we all know how Marthas Vineyard could not get them out fast enough either!
