I would love to see another subway series but I don't see it happening. The Braves are on a roll and they look like the best team in the NL. The Mets are sputtering and the Yankees will get not get passes the Astros. I would be shocked if either made it to the World Series.
I'm always baffled by the sheer cluelessness of people. The steroid era was just over the top.
That doesn't mean that most pro athletes nowadays don't dope with even more effective drugs. In a sense, it wasn't even very sophisticated.
MLB is trying to stay relevant so they're weaving this idiotic narrative around Judge.
All athletes today still go through various enhancement programs just more tamed than back then. But I don’t care if someone is taking enhancements as long as it’s monitored and limited. Also someone doping doesn’t mean they can hit lots of HRs, plenty of players that did roids and still couldn’t hit well.
Skepticism is always justified. Cynicism is not. Until there is any evidence that Judge has used some banned PED, I will believe he’s clean. So far, no evidence to that effect has come to light. I haven’t even heard whispers and rumors, which were rampant about Bonds, Sosa, and McGwire. So I think Judge is just a natural

I'm not against PEDS in sports. In fact, I think they should just allow everything.
It's extremely naive to believe that the majority of pro players haven't used PEDs at one point or another. Athletics with much less on the line is rife with PED use and that vanishes when it comes to pro sports and tens/hundreds of millions on the line?
Take a look at the testing regimen in pro leagues and the ability to purchase custom made PEDs with enough money. You'd have to be an.idiot not to take at least something.
MLB is drumming up some PR. Sosa had 66. McGwire had 70. Bonds 73. How is this a record at 62?
