Of course, nothing to do with abusive, neglectful, and irresponsible parenting. Why don't the scumbag politicians talk about the neglectful and abusive parenting that churns out these children? Afraid to lose votes?

Quote:
Project Pivot will provide mentoring, career counseling, recreational activities, and violence prevention programming to 138 city schools with high rates of suspensions, chronic absenteeism, and other factors that put students at risk of violence. The initiative is expected to cost $9 million.

City officials announced this spring that weapons seizures surged last school year, with more than 5,500 knives, box cutters and other violent instruments taken from students as of late May. Several parents told Gothamist at the time that they wanted the Department of Education to take more steps to ensure their children would be safe during their commutes to and from school, as well as inside their school buildings. Violence interruption groups will help to establish safe passageways for kids to travel to and from school as part of Project Pivot, according to the DOE.

Adams said the “traditional pathway” in city schools has failed the disproportionate number of Black and brown students who never reach proficiency, as well as the large percentage of people on Rikers Island who have dyslexia.

How is Adams exclusive and lux nightlife been lately? It is midnight right now, he is probably getting ready to go out party all night again with the stars.

Where does he find all that energy?
Does he ever sleep?

The other day I walked by an NYU residential building. Inside the windows (which are probably heavily reinforced or even bulletproof) you can see the bourgeoisie students who are all so well taken care of, having mini lectures together and living the spoiled brat lifestyles. Meanwhile they protest to defund police, yet the NYU buildings all have rock solid 24 hour security at the entrances.

The NYU buildings even put rows of lighting inside their scaffolding, to keep it safe and to thwart those homeless people from camping out under their scaffolding. Meanwhile they protest for other hypocrisy about equity and safe rooms, while they sit in their safe buildings built like tanks.

As for Washington Square Park, just shut that place down and arrest everyone already. What a shame.

This why I mentioned earlier that I wouldn’t let my kids go to NYU for free.

Rent a father business idea sounds like a money maker especially if you can get city contracts.

Endless amount of government programs and this community never gets better, only worse. Does anyone really believe this latest taxpayer funded idea is going to change anything?

Basically my N.Y.C. tax paying dollars are going to be funneled to pay for the following types of absentee mother/father:
irresponsible, incarcerated, drug addicted and the list goes on.

and in turn what are the responsible child rearing contributing members of society parents rewarded?

( sounds of crickets )

Time to find another place to call home...........................and I don't blame them.
