The irrefutable proof is that the pricing scheme will be in place 24/7.
THERE IS NO CONGESTION SUNDAY MORNING 6 AM
There is usually no congestion most late overnight periods for that matter. If it were a legitimate plan, the rates would be zero when there's no traffic and they would scale when traffic gets mental
of course. but it's just a money grab like school zone camera tickets at midnight.
I believe that the push for congestion pricing was begun by Bloomberg, so it would seem simple-minded or reductive to blame it on Hochul.
The push may have been started by Bloomberg but the intention wasn’t to pay for the ever expanding welfare
State. In its current incarnation, that’s all the money will be used for.
Again. This will make other spots in Brooklyn and queens pop more. Businesses will migrate away from Manhattan even more.
Manhattan deserves everything that comes it’s way.
A lot of people will stop going to city out of principal. I’m one of them.
I’d never put my family in a subway either .
No it won’t. This is an easy money grab and focused on the commercial industry. In turn, these added costs will be passed down to consumers. The welfare class won’t care because they don’t work and buy everything on someone else’s dime. Those that actually work and contribute to NYC won’t have a choice.

They’re in desperate need of revenue sources to support and expand the welfare state in NYC. That’s the source or power and votes.

So, rather than answering the charge of your inconsistency, you choose to YAMMER nonsense?
Now there is a push for speed cameras on MTA crossings. This is not about safety anymore.
Never was.
