Just when you thought there was nothing left to ban in NYC, city council rises to the occasion.

What's the issue? If you get take out and want it you simple have to ask. The apps I order to go orders from, have you check a box in you need them. Why put them in every bag when not everyone wants or needs them. It's wasteful on numerous levels.

Sorely you're aware that single-use plastic is bad, so I don't know why you're treating this as silly or petty.

I wonder if they'll switch to wood. A while back we stopped someplace for fancy frozen yogurt, and they had wooden spoons that worked just fine. Or perhaps more people will become handy with chopsticks.

I like places that got rid of straws but still serve plastic cups.

It's the weirdest battles people fight.

The prohibition of condiment packets is ridiculous: who can eat Chinese without duck or soy sauce? Or chips without salsa?

This video settles it for me . I'm all for banning plastic utensils.
Warning: May be hard to watch.

I order takeout/delivery a couple of times a month, I can't even count how many times I have discarded condiments/utensils.

If you want condiments, utensils, just ask for it. I know its an ''inconvenience'' for some of you out there but you'll be okay.

Democrats are the party of control. They literally look for the next best thing to control and vote on to make themselves appear to be doing something.

Just read an article that democrats are poised to start regulating air inside your house/apartment and they are talking to companies to start making smart devices in a couple years that people will be required to install in homes to monitor the air. If you are is too dirty there will be a fee. How to you clean the air in your house? Electrify all appliances.

Enjoy.
