True but the difference is that today our nation is under blatant siege and take over by some variety of tyrannical Communism and who knows what else. The days of dilapidated neighborhoods back then it was a different world all together.

Freedom is not the ability to do whatever you want to do, like running around Soho stealing handbags and smoking pot. Freedom is better described as having the ability to do good things and positive things in this life. Communism infringes upon that, in the way that we will no longer be allowed to speak out against tyranny but that we will be REQUIRED to speak praises about the tyrants.

All in all, my guess is 99% of New Yorkers will never fight. They will be hanging rainbow flags and eating macha cupcakes and taking boosters until tyrants shove their boots into their faces, most New Yorkers are terribly wimpy today, they will just praise the tyrants. Eat your avocado toast and hang more Ukraine flags outside their apartment windows.

It will be more like the shell of NYC but everything else becomes a run down Latino style country with more filth everywhere and many more Latino thieves and liars and cheaters than now. Get out of the cities. It's not just NYC, this is happening nationwide and in most of the West as well, to one extent or another.

The only problem is, they won't just let the rest of us go. You see, they think we're evil. That's always been a big difference between the left and the right. I can explain all of their views and why they believe them. Meanwhile, leftists just think right-wingers are evil and want to hurt people on purpose. They literally think that. Many right-wingers don't know they think that, and just think they disagree. It's not so. They actually think we're all metaphysically evil, which is why they basically just think we should be killed. They are very simple minded people who don't believe in anything other than authority, so they don't understand any of their own views beyond slogans given to them by the authorities. We call this "over-socialization".
