Major NYT article ostensibly about whether or not it's ethical to kill rats. I have the feeling that most New Yorkers don't worry much about that aspect.

Interesting bits, though. Luckily, I've only had mice occasionally, which started when there was some major renovations nearby - that disturbs the mice and sends them running for new territory. But the only thing I've found that works is the large glueboard intended for rats. Which means to me that if you wanted a glueboard to work on a rat, the glueboard might have to be two feet long. No wonder the standard ones don't work.

A trap that is expedient and minimizes suffering is the best trap.
Glue Traps are not one of them.

Glue traps prolly are among the cheapest though

Agree. Cheapest.
When it comes to disposing of rodents in a humane way, I can not find the heart
to set a glue trap and watch them suffer for hours up to their last breath. Sorry.
