So we have to keep people from killing themselves doing stupid things. The MTA should countersue her for not watching her son.

As long as lawyers will take those cases, people will try to sue...

This is modern day NYC in a nutshell. The entitlement of the welfare class knows no boundaries in modern day NYC. This woman should be in jail for child abuse for raising a complete dummy yet she's the one looking to get compensated by the same state (aka taxpayers) that have paid to raise her child.

It is heart breaking for a parent to lose a child
at the hands of others such as child abuse,
medical malpractice or as a victim of crime.

What makes this case sad is that it was unavoidable.
A poor decision by a young boy resulted in his death.
He died at his own hands.

R.I.P.

I’m suing the manufacturer of my coffee table.
There should be some kind of warning device or something so that it is visible at night, or start making the legs out of high density foam or whatever.
It’s very irresponsible for manufacturers of coffee tables to continue allowing people to stub and break toes in this day and age. It’s just inexcusable.

The MTA should sue her for wasting everyone's time.
