Every Thursday between the hours of 8 & 10pm there are anti police protestors that walk across the roadway on the BB in both directions. There are only about 10-15 of them but the police still allow them to take over the bridge near city hall. As a result the Police have to block off the ramp from FDR drive, BQE & flatbush avenue. How is this acceptable in any civilized society? They do not have the right to shut down the Brooklyn bridge and lead to traffic jams.
They is nothing noble about them either. They are a vile bunch that curse at the cops and are ready to fight with anybody that disagrees with them.

I thought this bullsh*t would stop once deBlasio was gone. Guess I was very wrong. Protestors don't have the right to block any bridge or street, unless they have a marching permit but never on a bridge. But I never heard of a major bridge being shut down on a weekly basis - in both directions. Emergency vehicles do use the Brooklyn Bridge on a regular basis. Adams has to issue orders to the NYPD to arrest them next time they show up, but of course he won't because arrests can now lead to lawsuits from every PoC thugs and other thugs placed under arrest.
Move out is the best solution. Leave this concrete jungle.
