mathjak, what type of bird is that in the fourth picture?

Nice photos, thank you for sharing. Have to get out my camera and get over to Sandy Hook. Birds are a favorite subject of mine, too. Canon user here.

thre is a nice preserve in new jersey where that restaurant with the knights is .

the kids used to be in carlstadt and it was like 10 minutes away

I think you mean the Meadowlands. Giants Stadium was built in the Meadowlands, as well as some housing developments, but some of it was preserved. My train to the city used to go through it.
